For some reason my family keeps growing and growing.  It seems like it was
just yesterday when I first met my wife in Oakland, California.  Since then we
have added two beautiful children to our young family and we have a third
addition on the way.

Let me make this clear to all of you right away, "My family is the single most
important thing in my life."  Some would say that God should be most
important but I tell those people that "God" is not interested in being in our
'most important' competition.  Anyway, I could just take the easy route and say
that God told me to put my family first!  Now there, it's settled!

I met my wife at Yohimbe Sampson's house back in March of 2001.  At the
time, Yohimbe and I were in a music band called Black Nile Soul.  I was sitting
at the keyboard minding my own business when my future wife walks into the
room with her friend.  My future wife sits down and everyone starts to talk.  I
don't even notice her all that much until I hear her talk about children.  She also
tells everyone that she just cut all of hair off.  More impressive was the fact that
she had never had a haircut in her whole life!  As you can imagine, I wanted to
find out what this woman was all about.  The rest is history.  3 children later
and we are all as happy as a porcupine sitting on top of a pine cone.

My wife Ayida is 26 years old.  I'm 30.  She is beautiful and the best person
that I have ever met.  She likes to talk a lot and I don't.  Did I mention that she
was fine as may wine?
