I am sitting here trying to write this article while my second son, Avi, is sitting
on my lap smacking away at the keyboard.  His little feet are pushing the
bottom of the laptop and now he is trying to eat the two green lights that tell
me that the computer is on and that the battery is working.

Avi is something else.  He likes to fuss.  And at times is somewhat volitile.  He
has a bit of a temper but my wife and I will work with him on that.  I recall, that
my first born son used to throw tantrums every once and a while but now he is
very much layed back and pretty much likes to be left alone.  Avi is the
complete opposite.  He is always seeking to be picked up.  And if my wife or I
are unable to pick him up, he will fuss at us until we give him what he requires.
It can be difficult sometimes but it is all worth it; especially when you see Avi's
incredible smile.

Avi will be turning 1 year old in about a month.  His first year passed by so
quickly.  He has accomplished many milestones.  But over the last few days
he has reached one of the most incredible milestones; Avi has started
walking!  He takes small, careful, wobbly steps.  Sometimes he takes a few
steps and then crouches down and crawls the rest of the way.  Other times he
stops his stride and looks around as if to say, "Did I just do what I think I just
did?"

Avi is also beginning to repeat certain letters in the alphabet.  His favorite
word continues to be "flower" and his second favorite is, "dada".  And yes, I
am so proud!  Next thing you know he will be reading books and writing his
name.  There is so much to look forward to.  Way to go son.  Keep up the
good work!
