Stephanie Essig a.k.a. Ms. Parker, is a plant and herb enthusiast who has made it her life’s work to teach tolerance. She holds degrees in Social Science, Education and Horticulture.  Her current work as owner/operator of CALIDAD Nursery in Oakland, California affords her the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and in doing so share her love for plants and their healing properties.

Stephanie will be sharing her knowledge about the importance of plants, how critical they are to our survival as a planet, our role in maintaining a diverse plant eco-system, the empowering feeling of growing your own food, and the many other benefits both mental, physical, emotional and spiritual that one can gain by interacting with plants on a DAILY basis.

Ms. Parker believes you haven’t fully lived unless you’ve grown or cared for a plant. She spreads her light and love to the world ONE PLANT AT A TIME.
