Oh dear. People with the same surname does not mean they were, based off the same person, or “honoring” a person.
Are you aware that a number of the astrological places you reference that you claim to be “arabic” were indeed identified and named by arabic scholars?
Looking for patterns in things to prove a hypothesis that you yourself have created is not logical, as Spock would say.
Also, the Borg were merely a producers/creative concept to a) boost ratings b) give star trek a major villain.
Why not ask the producers why or the Star Trek nerds why he was named so? Oh wait, that’d mean doing research rather than just guessing.

Geordi La Forge is said to have been based upon a quadriplegic named George La Forge, who died in 1975. If you research this you will find that this is the “official” reason for the naming of Geordi La Forge. Geordi was named such to “honor” the star trek fan George La Forge. This in and of itself proves your contention to be incorrect. The official reason as to why Picard was named “Jean Picard” was to “honor” the chemist Jean Piccard. How do I know this to be the case? The producers have admitted such. How do I know that they have admitted such? Research. In fact, this is basic information. By the way, each time a surname is passed from one generation to the next the previous generation is “honored”. Each time a son is named after his father, the father is “honored”. In this case, your contention is not logical or rooted in any degree of sound research. The following links should help you to rectify this issue.

If you would like for me to send you a list of books just let me know and I can start posting them here. One that I highly recommend is titled “Inside Star Trek The Real Story” by Herbert F. Solow and Robert H. Justman. This book is excellent. There are also a handful of biographies worth reading.

Yes. In fact, in Part 7C I further prove that the names given to the planets are very relevant and function to establish a subliminal foundation through which any given episode can be interpreted. If you research into the etymology of planet names, ship names, and character names, you will find that the ship names, planet names, and character names will have a subliminal relationship to the storyline of the episode in which they appear. But in order to ascertain this truth one would have to engage in extensive research and analysis; not simply watch Star Trek exclusively for entertainment purposes.

As for the Borg, there is a difference between a character and a character archetype. I make this clear early on in this series and have talked about this principle on various radio shows. This being said it’s not about why a character was created ( ie to boost ratings eg 7 of 9). The real question is “What was the character created to represent?” In this sense each character represents something; their name usually being the primary means of ascertaining what the character represents (Captain James T. Kirk being an excellent example of this).
If you research into the producers of Star Trek you will find that they divulge these basic subliminal strategies. But in order to fully understand what they share one must be willing to reach beyond their “fandom” and think logically and intelligently.

In light of what I shared above this question becomes mute and is based upon an erroneous assumption made on your part.

There is a great deal to investigate and it would be well worth your time to engage in a codified process of education, research, and analysis as to the topics and issues described within my documentary series. The Voyager episode “Initiations” contains many examples of subliminal Arab/Arabic/Islamic associations based on the usual stereotypes. It supports your assertions and you might want to check it out.

Oh yes. I am familiar with the episode that you mention. I source a great deal from Voyager in the earlier parts of the Borg Agenda series. I also use video footage from “Initiations” throughout the Borg Agenda series. You are absolutely right about the subliminal Arab/Arabic/Islamic associations made in the episode Initiations. The Kazon represent nomadic Arabic factions and are extensively demonized in the early episodes of Star Trek Voyager. Peace.

I THOROUGHLY appreciated your breakdown/juxtaposition of the starship Enterprise and the slave plantation; I made the same comparison to fellow co-workers in the past, based on my research into slavery.
